At the moment, I'm staying on Phi Phi Island . Approximately 2/3rds of the structures here are now gone. As you can see in the photo, what once use to be a hotel or a restaurant is now just an empty space. The space behind me was one of the worst places to be standing when the Tsunami hit. Many of the people who were in this part of island were swept away, and never found. This plot, approximately one acre, is intended be relandscaped into a memorial park.
